Dr Geert Vermeersch finished his medical degree at KU Leuven (bachelor
at KULAK) and completed his training for Orthopaedic Surgery and
traumatology at UZ Pellenberg from 2003 until 2009. During his training,
he had the opportunity to have 6 months of his education at the Exeter
Spinal Team (Exeter, United Kingdom), under direct supervision of Chris
Weatherley and Daniel Chan.

He has been working at the AZ Jan Portaels Hospital in Vilvoorde, with
special interest in the spinal disorders combined with the problems of the
diabetic feet.
